What Do Mercury Chelation Treatments Cost?
The initial assessment including heavy metal
testing is $500 - $599, depending on the $USD.
If mercury and other heavy metals are found, then
treatment will commence with a series of
12 (twelve) I.V. treatments, supplements, 1-2 chemistry panel lab tests and one
heavy metal test to re-assess mercury levels.
Each series costs approximately $2499, again
depending on the $USD. The number of series required will depend on the amount
of mercury present, indicated with each re-assessment test.
IS MERCURY CHELATION COVERED?
Mercury
Chelation is not covered by Alberta Health Care. Some private (work) insurance
companies may cover part of the therapy; however, our clinic does not do any 3rd party
billing. After each treatment our clinic will provide you with a computerized
invoice for either your insurance coverage or your personal files. If you opt to
pay for the complete program ahead of time (see below) you will receive only one
invoice.
PRE-PAYING FOR THE COMPLETE TREATMENT
PROGRAM
The initial assessment which includes heavy metal testing is usually paid at the
beginning of the program and is invoiced separately.
Patients are then able to pay for each series ahead of time offering a
$100 savings (see above for the complete breakdown of each series, but
they include 12 I.V.'s).
If you opt to take the 12 I.V. treatments on a TWICE per week basis then
the first series of treatments will last 6 weeks and the total costs of the
program will be approximately $2399 including GST, depending on the $USD.
Treatments can be taken to a maximum of 3 I.V.’s per week
(Monday/Wednesday/Friday), reducing the treatment time to 4 weeks per series.
If you opt to take the 12 I.V. treatments on a ONCE per week basis then the
treatments will last 12 weeks and the total costs of the program will be
approximately $2599 including GST, depending on the $USD.
